Facebook/haxdoor/trojan/window… Whats It All About?

First off i have avg(free edition) as my anti virus. I ran a scan and it found a worm BOLIVAR something which turns out is from that nasty facebook virus going around.It was an EXE. file and i dont think it had been started so i deleted it. Scanned again and all seemed ok
Things have been strange on my computer recently(switching off,going really slow etc). So i downloaded a free STOPZILLA scan just to be sure. This scan tells me i have a facebook trojan, and 2x HAXDOOR Window/32.
As stopzilla will not delete these on free version i downloaded one that claimed to scan and remove spyware/malware etc(superantispyware).
i ran a scan with this but apart from cookies it only found one TROJAN which was again a WINDOWS32 file.
My questions are.
1. Can i delete this windows32 file or will i risk damaging my system.
2. Could STOPZILLA and SUPERANTISPYWARE be finding the same problem but naming them different. Im thinking Facebook trojan and bolivar xould be the same thing meaning it wasnt removed by AVG.
also i noticed when googling HAXDOOR it mentioned facebook too so i guess its all connected.
3.basically i want to find and remove all these problems, although with an extended family and xmas round the bend im relying on free software at the moment(skinflint-Ed)
